Just So

Nomad Theatre

Long ago, before the rhino had baggy skin, before the leopard had spots, and before the kangaroo had bounce, a curious young elephant began asking questions and on his journey, he got some very surprising answers.

Written by Stiles and Drewe (Honk!, Betty Blue Eyes, Mary Poppins on stage, Soho Cinders etc), this magical musical brings Kipling's beloved Just So Stories to life in a heartwarming, funny tale of friendship and bravery.

This innovative Lost For Words production (previous performances include a promenade version of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and sell out runs of Whistle Down The Wind and Avenue Q) uses multi-media, puppetry, masks, magic and stunning vocals to bring this classic book to life. It's a real treat for the whole family, that will have you humming the songs as you leave.

Directed by Katharine Williams, musical direction from Harriet Oughton and choreography by Carla Fox. Photography by David Martin.
